Adding ‘comment reply’ in wordpress without plugin

There is a comment plugin for wordpress which is called ‘Wordpress Thread Comment‘  which was develped by ‘Author: 偶爱偶家’.

This Plugin is an enhancement for Wordpress’s comment function. It enables users to reply on a exist comment, and the discussion will be displayed threaded or nested.

But, i found a new way to get ‘reply comments’ function working without plugins, it is very simple:

First, check the wordpress version, i hope it would be 2.7.

Second, download ‘comments.php’ from wordpress 2.7’s default thems folder.

Last, replace the new ‘comments.php’ file as the older one and check the wordpress admin’s settings/discuss to enable multi thread comment.

Well, get some CSS style to control the display and start to enjoy it !
